Georgia Women Connect is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to educate and encourage women to engage in all areas of public service. This includes: running for public office, serving on community boards, achieving appointed office, and volunteering in political campaigns or offices.

Georgia Women Connect created this Clearinghouse to promote placement of qualified women into appointed government boards and commissions. These are not paid opportunities, and participation in the Clearinghouse does not guarantee placement on a board or commission. 

Georgia Women Connect has no influence upon the selections made by elected officials or appointing authorities; they make their selections independently, based upon the information shared in member profiles. We do not endorse nor suggest any individuals, skillsets, experience or responsibilities for any position.
